As a tennis fan I must admit this tournament is a tough call as more players keep lining up to take the trophy home and get on course to the French Grand Slam at Roland Garros next month.

How can i find out if my 1986 Monte Carlo is Original.Why does'nt it have a floor shifter?

My brother bougth a Monte Carlo it has the SS front end why doesn't it have a floor shifter.Also it does not have any SS emblems anywhere.It has a 305 engine.So i ask anybody out there is this car really an ORIGINAL Monte Carlo SS.What if they just swapped the front end?

The split bench seat and column shifter were optional, so your lack of a floor shifter doesn't meant it's not an SS. I have a true 86SS with a column shifter. Decode the vin # to be sure.
