The Albino leopard gecko is one of the species among the many that can be found in the leopard gecko pedigree. Every variety of geckos come with different genetics thus giving them different behaviors.

Albinos possess a recessive trait. What is a recessive trait? It means that when combined to a dominant trait animal the recessive trait of one gecko cannot be expressed. Albinos must carry two copies of the gene to make it visible outwardly.

These traits are found in all three strains of albinos such as Bell, tremper, and rainwater albino leopard geckos. Patternless and blizzard albinos are also included. These traits are drawn from the mutation of a particular gene that is controlled by a specific part during the development stage of an animal which are very hard to determine. Most likely one has to be lucky enough to randomly determine that their leopard albino has this peculiar trait.

Here is a description of the different types of Albinos. Starting with the three strains, these geckos are named after the last name of their first breeders. We have the Rainwater albino which is also called the Las Vegas albino, Tremper, and Bell. All these three acquired the recessive traits.

They are extremely sensitive to bright lights and impulsively close their eyes to protect them. This is also one reason why feeding is not suitable for them during the day. These three strains are also completely incompatible therefore it is not wise to be breeding them with each other.

What is the difference among the three?

Tremper strain was the original albino to be on the market and is the most common gecko nowadays. Unfortunately, trempers have that dark brown appearance most probably because of the incubation process rather than genetics, although there are still white or pink tremper albinos.

The eyes of the tremper varies from slightly lighter than what is normal non-albino to bright red for the young. This is normally the effect when incubated in 90 degrees Fahrenheit. But as they mature in age the red eye of the young changes to normal beige.

Rainwater albino leopard geckos strain is next in popularity to tremper. They said that these strains are pinkier than the tremper but it is not always true. Sometimes, trempers possess bright pink colors when proper incubation is attained accurately. They both have a slight difference in color with the babies when incubated at 80 or 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Bell strains until now are still scarcely found. The pink color of the strain is more likely to have a darker shade in contrast to the other strains. The eyes of bell however are the reddest among the three even at mature age.

Patternless are the first recognized to have the recessive trait of an albino. They were sold out as "leucistic" but it was discovered that blizzards are the true "leucistic" which brought about the change of the leopard names to patternless, though some still use the old name.

The body of patternless consists of black spotting but often changes as they grow. The color of the body varies from neon yellow to a dull brown. But some have exceptionally beautiful orange tail or at least part of the tail. These patternless types with dark brown coloration may be due to the low temperature during the incubation process. The eyes of this albino leopard gecko are categorized as that of a normal non-albino.

Day Trips
The Timinafaya national park is a vital destination for all that wish to see how the volcanoes have shaped this distinctive land. You will need roughly a whole day to take in the whole place, to absorb the sights and feeling in this strange terrain. While certain points of this area are prohibited to human feet, there are may ways to get around including bus tours and camel trails.

For many the highlight of this day trip is a journey in to El Diablo, the parks famous lava fuelled barbecue a novel and strange culinary experience.

If you are up for a quick ferry journey, it takes you 40 minutes to get to Orzola, a haven of little beaches and sandy shores. Yet if you wish to stay more in land then head north Papayago.

Papayago is a white sand beach in the north of the island that is a big pull to a number of tourists, it has beautiful clear waters perfect for snorkeling. The sand is surrounding by towering cliffs that seem to engulf the beach as if a cove.

Dining
With the sun descending to a seeping orange in the evenings here, Lanzarote is perfect for a nice evening lounging over a long meal, with a few glasses of wine to wash down the local cuisine.

As to be expected with many Island the cuisine here is seafood rich, with many great fish variant dishes. Much of the cuisine here is similar to southern Spain with tapas being popular throughout the island. There are many tellingly Canarian additions to the tapas archetype with crinkled potatoes proving particularly popular, served with moo sauce.

Nights Out
In Puerto Del Carmen you will find a neon wilderness designed for nocturnal types with a thirst for partying, though with a much more refined atmosphere than many other destination in the Canary Islands. The bars and clubs try to cater to as many tastes as possible making this a diverse and colourful night out, though you will not find any form of night life that could be called 'Spanish'. For more traditional nights try Arrecife.

parts cut off on tv screen when i play d2 and sc on my comp?

ok my dad uses a hp screen for a monitor insted of a normal comp screen. so i play diablo 2 and guess what?
a very important part is cut off. the top. the place where the monster's health bar is. and in starcraft, the top is cut off, too. I mean, WHY THE TOP???? I cant see how much minerals and vespene gas i have. its very annoying. (sry ppl who dont play these games, it must sound very wierd to u.)
in general, all im asking u is when i play full screen games, how come parts are black???how come theyre cut off!!! it is annoying! plz tell me how to fix this problem. and also, my computer is new and it says it has a bad vid card or something and the comp shows wierd colors and everything is the wrong color, and the rain is like neon sprinkles. also when sc is loading, kerrigan and terran guy and protoss is all balck and white and then it turns good. im sorry for all these questions. and the runnons. thanks for the help.

It sounds like to me that all of this is a video card/graphic card problem. If you are having all these problems while in games but not when you are running other applications (such as Word, Internet Explorer, etc) than you probably don't have a powerful enough video card. Games require much more powerful cards than regular programs. To tell if this is the problem and not that the video card on the computer is just bad it really depends on how much you paid for the computer. If you under $500 or a little over, they company that gave you the computer probably didn't put a very good card on it. If you paid over $1,000 you should probably contact the manufacturer to tell them the card is bad.
I'll assume that you don't have a great card on their now. What you will have to do is look in the manual of the computer under a section call upgrading or video cards or Expansion Slots, something like that. You need to find out what type of card your computer can have, it will either be PCI (lower end systems (this type of card is the least powerful)), AGP (Older systems/middle of the road systems (middle of the road cards)), PCI Express (upper end, newer systems (most powerful type of card, the one you want)). Understand here that if your computer specifies one of these, you HAVE to go with the type, the are NOT compatible with each other and will not work if you get the wrong type.
To get a new card you are going to want to get one that is supported and will probably cost you $150 + for a good one, don't cheap out because it won't work good for future games. I recommend going with an ATI or Nvidia Graphics card because these are the top two brands and I have had good experience with both of them.
Once you install the card you will need to go to the manufacturers website and download the latest drivers for the card. A driver is just what makes the card work on the computer. Newer once fix problems and give new features for the card. The games should work good now.

If you already have a good graphics card, go to the manufacturers website and download the latest drivers for the card and make sure everything is up to date, even on new computers, the software can sometimes be months or even years old, which could cause problems.

If this was all to confusing, go to a computer store such as Best Buy (however if you have a small mom and pop type store, go there because they will probably know more about computers than Best Buy). Bring in the computer or the model number and the brand so they can find what cards can go with your computer. They should be able to tell you how to put the card in or can do it for you, although its really not that hard. (The store near us will let you install it right in front of them and they will tell you what to do so that you don't have to pay an installation fee, another benefit of going to a smaller store).

After all of this, the games should run without problems. I know what you are going through! I had huge problems with games like this and had to purchase a new video card, and all the problems were solved.
