The Ab Circle Pro has certainly become one of the hottest selling fitness products in the world. It has a killer infomercial and is promoted like crazy.
However, we all know that infomercials tend to paint a rather rosy picture and that the reality is often a bit different. This is why it's important to go over Ab Circle Customer Reviews and see what this machine is really like.
Ab Circle reviews are mixed. Some people like it and some plainly hate it. However, there are some repeated complaints which are worth noting:
1. The real price of this machine isn't $14.95. This is only the price of the 30 day trial. I'm going for some abs how should I do it?
There is a football game in about 4 weeks. Well me and mah girlz be painting our stomachs and spelling out our school mascot thing. Anywayz.... I want some abs! lol Not just for the game but just becase i want them. Any help on how i can get good resutls? Like should i do crunches? How many? For how long? Every day? Or is there any otehr techniques that work well? Thank Yall very much fo yo help!
The good news is that you already have "abs" -- everyone does.
There are usually two reasons that you can't "see" them:
1.) Your ab muscles are covered with a layer of fat
2.) Your ab muscles aren't well-developed
Men don't typically show good ab definition until they approach 10% body fat -- and they don't get ripped until they are in the single digits. Women will start to see some ab definition as they approach 20% body fat, and it will really pop out at around 14-15%. However, women should not go much lower than 14-15 percent body fat, since it can cause health issues.
Getting abs is first about diet. Then cardio, then weight training.
If you are consuming the right amount of calories in the right types of "clean foods" (lots of fresh veggies, lean meats/proteins, good fats, little or no sugar, soda, fast food, etc.) you should be able to start stripping off belly fat IF you combine it with cardio.
High intensity, interval cardio has been shown to be more effective at reducing abdominal fat than lower-intensity cardio. The good news is that type of cardio requires less time (30 minutes), but it's hard work.
So instead of spending 45 minutes doing brisk walking or a slow jog on a treadmill or elliptical, you alternate periods of fast walking (2 minutes say) with 1 minute of sprinting on the treadmill. You basically keep cycling this for thirty minutes. You can torch a lot of calories this way and it encourages fat burning after exercise. In terms of training your abs, don't fall victim to the idea that more is better. Training abs everyday or doing 50-100 repetitions each time is not necessarily what you need. You also don't need fancy ab machines (they are usually counterproductive.) The abs are like any muscle, they need resistance to grow. So try doing your crunches with a some resistance, like a light dummbell held across your chest, or use a cable to give you some resistance. You'll be able to do less reps, but you will work the muscles harder (you'll also find that they may actually be sore the next day!)
Four weeks is a pretty aggressive timeline, but you can certainly tighten up you middriff in a month and bring out some definition provided you are eating well and training your abs every other day, with some resistance.
If you already have low body fat levels, some minor tweaks to your diet, coupled with some high intensity cardio and resistance training, should bring out some nice abdominal definition in four weeks.
