There are many cool places to visit in Europe, with countries rich in history, culture, and architecture. There are some areas that have a troubled past, but have become some of the most popular countries today. With all the places to see and things to do, it would take volumes to cover them all. Here are just some of the best places to visit in Europe to visit.
One of the largest Cities in Europe has got to be London, England. There are so many different palaces, and historical landmarks that it would take a month to really see them all. Some of the most popular places to visit are Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London and Big Ben. There is the British Museum, with more than six million exhibits from all points of the globe. This British Library holds centuries old books as well as manuscripts. These are open to the public all year round. There are an abundance of guided tours, boat rides, and you can even buy a pass that can get you into many sights for free.
The next stop on the Tour of Europe has to be Paris France. This is home of the Eiffel Tower of course, and the Louvre, just to name a few. There are artists lining the streets, working and selling their wares. With so many different bistros and cafes, restaurants and pubs, you are sure to find something to your liking. Paris is also the fashion capitol of Europe, and there are many different boutiques to help you find the latest trends. There are many European Cities where you can buy a transit pass, which will not only allow you to travel the public transit system unlimited for a certain amount of days, but also let you into the sights. Paris is another such city.
Italy is another country that you can't miss seeing, and you should visit the best cities here, Venice, Barcelona, as well as Rome, all of which have their own uniqueness and style. Rome of course has the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and of course Vatican city. Vatican City is the home of the Catholic Pope, the Sistine chapel and many museums. Venice has many canal streets, as well as many historical sights, and the best way to get around is of course by gondola.
For true connoisseurs of indulgence, you should never leave Europe without stopping in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Sure, there are plenty of interesting things to see during the day, The Museum of Resistance, The Van Gogh museum, and even the home of Rembrandt. While there are an abundance of day time activities to enjoy, many come here for the night life of the Red Light District. Here you can indulge in your fantasies, and activities that may be illegal elsewhere are not here. You can see many pretty girls in window displays, and one of the few things you can't do is take pictures.
There are many more cool places, all over Europe. There are an abundance of websites that can help you plan the perfect holiday, whether it is just for the weekend, or much longer. One of the best ways to see these sights is by renting a holiday apartment, instead of a standard hotel accommodation.

I Love Lucy (Season 5) DVD Review
Recipient of widespread critical and audience acclaim, I Love Lucy is by far one of the greatest, if not the greatest, comedy series in television history. It literally revolutionized the TV landscape forever with its creative thinking, live studio audience, experimental camera angles, and top-notch writing. Created by the talented husband and wife team of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, I Love Lucy became the most celebrated show of its time and helped usher in a whole new era in the American entertainment experience...
The I Love Lucy (Season 5) DVD offers a number of hilarious episodes including the season premiere "Lucy Visits Grauman's" in which Lucy is wrapping up her extended trip to Hollywood where she's collected a number of oddball collectibles, such as a tin can run over by Cary Grant's car and a napkin used by Lana Turner. But when Lucy learns that John Wayne's imprints on a concrete block in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater have come loose, she decides to steal a real souvenir to take home... Other notable episodes from Season 5 include "Lucy Goes to a Rodeo" in which Lucy confuses Ricky's performance on a "radio show" with his performance in a "rodeo show," and "Paris at Last" in which Lucy's trip to Paris is marked by her quest to find a famous artist whose paintings will one day be valuable, but the only artist she meets is a con artist who steals her blind...
