Here are some more information for Royce Silver:

One could say that car insurance usually doesn't cost too much and can be affordable to the majority of consumers. Nevertheless if you are an owner of a luxury or a sports car, you definitely know how much it costs to insure it. The thing is that there is not always that distinct interdependence of the car insurance fees and the actual value of the car. Sometimes a cheaper car can qualify for a higher insurance rate than a more expensive brand new vehicle. But almost all the cars that cost more than 100,000 get a very high insurance rate. These is the type of cars we are going to speak about. It's rather common that the owners of some very expensive models don't insure their cars if they are considered to be rarity or belong to some private collections. Nevertheless some of them don't only find money to buy such a car. They actually can afford to insure it.
Anyways, here is a list of ten most expensive cars ever insured in human history.
1. Rolls Royce "Silver Ghost".
This old-fashioned antique vehicle was once insured for $50 million and was recognized as the most expensive car in the world even though it is no longer in production.
2. Ferrari GTO.
When this car was insured for the first time it was purchased for $22 million.
3. Bugatti Type 41 Royale.
The first insured Buggati Type 41 Royale was sold for around $12 million, even though today's price of this vehicle can be as low as $40,000.
4. Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR.
The price of this vehicle built in a limited edition was up to $2 million.
5. Bugatti Veyron 16.4
The price of this Royale's brother was $1.7 million. Nevertheless the insurance rates were very high because of the exclusiveness of this model and its high repair costs.
6. Mclaren F1.
This incredibly beautiful sports car costs more than $1 million but its high speeding abilities (more than 230 mph) still make the insurance rates jump up too.
7. Ferrari Enzo.
This peculiar vehicle was also released by limited edition and sold for $1 million.
8. Pagani Zonda C12 F.
The price of this stylish beauty is relatively stable and remains the same during several years - around $0,7 million.
9. Koenigsegg CCX.
This luxurious car costs around $0,6-0,7 million.
10. Porsche carrera GT.
The price of this exclusive vehicle was about $0,5 million.
Most of these cars have a four-wheel drive and are diesel-driven which makes the repairs more complicated. But mainly the high insurance rates are conditional on the high price and the uniqueness of the cars themselves because many of them are very valuable due to their limited edition.

Rolls-royce Will Offer Limited Edition Phantom Silver
Rolls-Royce will once again offer something that would surely make car enthusiasts so excited that they will probably buy floor mats first just so you know to make sure that their new “Rolls-Royce” remained unspoiled.
Rolls-Royce to mark the 100th anniversary of its legendary Silver Ghost has developed the limited edition Phantom Silver. This special model, of which only 25 are to be produced, pays homage to the one of the most famous automotive names of all time.
The Silver Ghost was first produced in the year 1906 with the main intention of promoting the then new Rolls-Royce 40/50 hp six-cylinder model. The Silver Ghost has helped to develop the Rolls-Royce reputation for reliability and engineering excellence.
The name Silver Ghost was coined in 1907 by Rolls-Royce Managing Director, Claude Johnson by virtue of its silver coachwork and its extraordinary stealth-ness. The original Silver Ghost was registered as AX-201 and competed in the 1907 Scottish Reliability Trial wherein it won the gold medal in its class for hill climbing speed and reliability. For that year, the Silver Ghost was able to break the world record for a non-stop motor run, covering London to Glasgow route 27 times with a total mileage of 14,371 miles.
From 1907 to 1925 more than 6,000 Silver Ghosts were built and was sold in different parts of the world. And until today majority of those Silver Ghost are still in their immaculate conditions.
To give tribute to the specifications of the original, the new Limited Edition Phantom Silver is finished in a new Bespoke paint, Metallic Ghost Silver. It’s equipped with 21-inch wheels that have chrome centers and on top of the grille is hallmarked with solid silver Spirit of Ecstacy. The interior of the Phantom Silver is a Rose Leaf or Crème Light leather which is accompanied by seat piping and headrests embroidered with the Rolls-Royce interlinked RR badge.
Straight grained Santos Palissander wood veneer is used throughout. The same veneer is also used on a specially designed presentation box that houses the key, the two solid silver key fobs and a specially commissioned solid silver Conway Stewart fountain pain.
Phantom Silver specification:
• Bespoke Ghost Silver paintwork
• 21-inch alloy wheels chrome centre caps
• Roseleaf or Crème Light leather interior trim
• Santos Palissander veneered wood
• Coolbox
• Solid silver and enamel Conway Stewart pen
• Solid silver key fob
• Solid silver Spirit of Ecstasy
• Bespoke drinks holder

About Rolls-Royce
Rolls-Royce Motors was the result of the merger of the Rolls-Royce car business from Rolls-Royce Limited in 1973. Rolls-Royce Limited has been nationalized in the year 1971 due to the financial collapse of the company which was attributed to the development of the RB211 jet engine. Then in 1973 the British government sold the Rolls-Royce car business to allow the Rolls-Royce Limited to concentrate on jet engine manufacturing.
In the year 1980 Rolls-Royce Motors was acquired by Vickers. Then in 1998 Vickers decided to sell Rolls-Royce Motors. BMW was among the interested buyers since it is already the supplier of engines and other components for Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars. Unfortunately, their final offer of £340m was outbid by Volkswagen who offered £430m.

Are Bentley and Rolls Royce reliable cars?
I know they represent the "creme de la creme" when it comes to cars. Nothing outshines them in the glamour department, and I would love to own a Bentley Arnage or Continental, or a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph.
Alas, they are nowhere to be found in the used car guides.
How do they fare when it comes to reliability?
Can you count on your Rolls, or Bentley?
Once upon a time when USA was great, we made great cars. If you are looking for style and quality at a price a real person could actually afford, consider alternatives to British luxury cars. Whether Rolls or whatever, you might want to rent one to see for yourself what it's about.
