Sideview mirror fell off, can I re-attach it?

So I was backing out of my garage and my side-view mirror hit the side of it and it snapped off.. it's still connected by it's wiring or whatever, and nothing is obviously broken broken.. I'm wondering can I just attach it back with some strong glue or something? If so, what would I use?

Car is a '00 Nissan Sentra if that makes any difference.
Well, how are they attached in the first place? I'm not sure what I'd be replacing.

How much are side-view mirrors, anyway?

It needs to be replaced, nothing will hold it on unless you want to put it on with unsightly duct tape, try to find one in the junkyard will be the cheapest way.
