Toyota Camry driver side power / electric window problems?
I have a 1998 Toyota Camry. It has power / electric windows. On the driver's side, the window rolls down just fine, but it has difficulties rolling up. It will only roll up a small amount, then you have to wait several minutes, and repeat the process. It can sometimes take 20 minutes to an hour to roll the window up all the way.
What is the likely cause? Is it likely a fuse issue? Or is it something that has to do with the motor in the door, or the wiring to that?
It is the motor or a frayed cable, remove the inside of the door and look for a cable, it raises and lowers the window, if it is frayed it might be binding. Hope this helps.
