My landrover freelander driver side electric mirror not working?

The mirrors come in and out by the electric button by the drivers seat. However, recently the drivers side mirror needs to be pulled in manually when you press the button. It goes out fine. The passenger mirror works fine. I've tried spraying WD40 but to no avail.
....Can people who are able to contribute a useful, as opposed to a useless response, answer this question. Thanks.
