in nascar going to keep the spoiler the whole year and wont bring bach the wing?
they ran the wing the first 5 races when jimmie johnson won 3 of the 5 races. When they brought the spoiler back he has not won a race, and there has been 6 of them. Im a jeff gordon fan who only had 1 good race with the wing, and with the spoiler he has had a good car every week
they're not bringing back the wing. also the spoiler isn't the reason JJ hasn't won, he's still ran good. they actually wanted to make a spoiler that gives the same % of downforce on the rear without changing anything on the front, they have a certain % of downforce on the front and a certain amount on the rear, not sure what they are. so i'm assuming in straight aways the spoiler puts the same downforce but it's the turns that the spoiler gives more downforce than the wing. plus the wing blocked the view out the back window so the driver's couldn't communicate with each other like they used to, they use to use hand signals olut the back, couldn't do that with the wing, but with the spoiler back they can do that again
