gunsmiths?shepherd Texas I need one for 30-06?

I want to mate a adams and bennet stainless steel fluted with target crown bull barrel made for a mauser action to a original 30-06 springfeild arsenal refurbished action.This is based on the mauser action I know,but don't know if parts will work together.Custom sporter is turning into a custom nightmare.Need local smith or halfway local smith.There are other things I'm tring to do such as go ahead and buy the dble trigger set up designed for mauser type actions,but need smith info.again as to wether the parts will work together.Stock,pillar bedding,freefloating,etc.GUNSMITH HELP!

I assume that there are no gunsmiths listed in your phone book or you wouldn't be posting this question here. That being the case, I'd ask around at the local gunstores. Don't bother with Wal-Mart and those kinds of places, go to a real gun store where the folks behind the counter know what they are talking about. You might also check with some of the pawn shops in your area. I'm sure that they have occasionally taken a gun that needed work on it and might know who to take or send it to.
