Stainless steel refrigerators are particularly susceptible to finger prints and grease marks, particularly if it is used frequently or if there are children in the house. There are lots of specialist cleaners for your stainless steel appliances available in the market. You will discover which one works best for you with experience. Be cautioned that some of them may be harmful to your appliance.
The first thing to remember while cleaning stainless steel refrigerators is to never use abrasive tools or cleaning products. Steel wool is absolutely forbidden. You will end up leaving permanent scratch marks on your refrigerator. You only require ordinary soap and water to do basic cleaning of stainless steel refrigerators. Apply the soap with a clean cloth and use another dry one to wipe it off. Do his carefully else you will leave water streak marks all over the surface.
Fingerprints that are tougher to remove might be dislodged with a dab of baby oil or olive oil on a paper towel. You could also use a normal glass cleaner available in the market.
Another heap and easily available cleaner for stainless steel refrigerators is vinegar. A soft cloth dipped in dilute vinegar should be used to rub the refrigerator's surface all over. It will remove all residual grease and dust and bring back a shine to the appliance. You could also sprinkle a bit of baking soda on a damp sponge or cleaning cloth and wipe the surface with it.
Whichever product it is that you use to clean your refrigerator, always wipe along the grain so that you don't cause scratches.
It is worth taking the extra effort to keep stainless steel refrigerators and other kitchen appliances clean. You would have wasted the money you spent on purchasing them if you are unable to maintain them well.

How come a stainless steel draining board stinks of rotten eggs?
I had the new kitchen installed 7yrs ago. I noticed an awful smell a little while ago. On investigating I found that it was coming from the draining board. It has been washed with Cif a few times a week and also at least 1 lot of dishes are drained on it every day! I can't understand how stainless steel can stink. The dishwasher is under it but I keep that clean and it is used once a day.Could the housing that it is in have rotted? Is it time to install a new stainless steel unit or another medium?
Bacteria will find a food source wherever it may be. You must keep looking. If you can smell it, it is there.
