Before you get ready to order your GMC Suburban part, how would you like seven tips that would help you save money and save time when getting your part? You can get your vehicle into top-notch shape and keep more money in your wallet or pocketbook. Here are 7 tiny tips to read before you order your GMC Suburban part.
Tip 1 - Order Online
One of the best ways to save money is to order online. Because of the differences in price from your hometown and other places, you have the chance to get a much better price by ordering online. Not only do you get great prices but the convenience is second to none.
Tip 2 - Check for Free Shipping
To save even more money on your GMC Suburban part, check your online auto parts store for free shipping. Many companies offer free or discounted shipping if you order a certain amount. This is a great way to save money on your GMC Suburban part.
Tip 3 - Quality Name Brand Parts
Even though it seems like a better idea to purchase the cheapest GMC Suburban part you can find, the truth is that purchasing the better quality parts is that you will save money in the long run. Your quality part will perform much better than cheaper parts and you will get a longer running life out of them.
Tip 4 - Check for Price Match
Check your favorite online store to see if they price match. If they do, and you see your GMC Suburban part at another online store for a cheaper price, your store will lower the price on that part to match. This means that you will save even more money.
Tip 5 - Check for Safe Shipping
Check your favorite online store for safe shipping. There should be a logo or a statement on the site which tells you they feature safe shipping. This simply means that when you send your order information, it is encrypted so that it cannot fall into the hands of someone who may steal your money or worse.
Tip 6 - Be Sure You Are Ordering all the Parts You Need
Before you order your GMC Suburban part, make sure there are no others you need. When you order them all at one time, you can save money on shipping or even get discounted or free shipping. Because cars need certain parts changed regularly, you will have them when you need them.
Tip 7 - Ask Questions if You Are Not Sure About Something
If you have a question or concern, find a phone number or contact e-mail address and ask a question. If it's a good quality company, you shouldn't have to wait too long for an answer and it's always better to be safe than sorry when ordering your GMC Suburban part.
Using these 7 tiny tips, you can save money and get a great deal on the vehicle parts you need.

General Motors Corporation (PinkSheets: MTLQQ) Recalls 1.5 Million Vehicles
As part of their bankruptcy reorganizations, GM and Chrysler announced plans to shed nearly 2,800 dealers last year. GM had around 6,000 U.S. dealers when it went into bankruptcy protection, and planned to have only 4,100 dealers across the country in July. However, GM North America President Mark Reuss told The Associated Press today that the company should wind up with about 5,000 dealers in July. This decision reflects a shift in strategy from GM's previous regime and will save thousands of jobs (with an average of 50 people working at a new-car dealership). GM wants to avoid the expense and time of the closures, and Reuss feels shedding dealers isn't critical for GM to achieve profitability.
Today, General Motors Co has announced a recall of about 1.5 million trucks, crossovers, and cars from model years 2006-2009. With GM's decision to keep the 900 dealerships it originally intended to cut loose, the company will better be able to suite the customers' needs in this matter. The unit that heats the windshield washer fluid in these vehicles could catch fire, a feature used to allow larger vehicles to better eliminate ice and snow on windshields. This isn't the first time this washer system was recalled. In August 2008, the heated water system was recalled because of a short circuit, and dealers installed a fuse in the module wiring to fix the problem. In June 2009, GM discovered a new failure in the system which caused smoke, and has since received 5 reports of the system causing a fire.
In an estimated time of 20 minutes, GM will remove the unit that heats washer fluid, because the supplier who made the module has stopped manufacturing. In addition, the company will pay each customer $100 when the fluid module is removed at dealerships. Therefore, if all 1.5 million customers collect the $100 payment for loss of the heated washer feature, payouts to consumers would total about $150 million.
The models involved include the 2007-2009 model year Chevrolet Silverado 3500 pickup truck, Avalanche, Suburban and Tahoe; Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT; GMC Acadia, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL; and the Saturn Outlook. The recall also covers the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, the 2008-2009 Buick Enclave and Cadillac CTS, and the 2006-2009 Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS and Hummer H2.

Chevy Avalanche or Tahoe?
I want to buy a 4x4 soon, right now Avalanches are selling a few grand under the Tahoe, but is it worth it?
I don't need a third row of seats, and I believe the bed of the Avalanche is not only accessible from the cab, it's also lockable and water proof, and can hold over 200 pounds on the cover.
My question is whether you guys think it's worth it to save a few grand and go with the Avalanche, seeing as I do not need a third row.
Hugh the avalanche offers more over all over a tahoe. The base fact the tahoe is a people mover. The avalanche offers the best of both worlds.4 door accessibility,a functional Mid-Gate and a pick up type bed and tons of factory options. If you have not done so yet you should drive both trucks. For style and function its hard to beat the Avalanche.Best of luck with your choice.
Fire Hazard Forces Broad G.M. Recall
A heated washer-fluid system in vehicles from the 2006 to 2009 model years could short circuit and cause a fire.
