Graphic audio produces the best quality audio books in the industry, as far as I am concerned. Each book has its own actors, and these actors become the voice of that character for the entire series. You come to know the character by voice, this adds a new aspect to audio books.

Also the sound effects used are just like what movies use. Shotguns, m-16s, ak47s, bombs, cars, and everything sounds like it should. The narrator does not say "and then the phone rang" you hear the phone ring. It really is a movie in your mind.

Don't misunderstand me; there are a lot of very good narrators, who do all the parts of the book. Graphic audio adds a new layer of listening enjoyment to audio books. The format of audio books be it graphic audio or just narration the enjoyment you can get while driving cross country, or just to work and back, is great.

Almost any popular author you can think of has a book out in audio. I like, William W. Johnston, I own almost every book he has written, W.E.B. Griffin, Vince Flynn, and Brad Thor.

These are just four of my favorites. If you have never tried an audio book, you are missing another aspect of enjoyment. (Audio books really do make the miles fly by.)

Just a little recent history

Okay, well I'm still at home waiting to be reassigned a truck. Maybe a little history is in order. On the 18th of December 08, I started to get out of bed and passed out. Approximately 2 hours later this happened again, on the third try I went a lot slower and was able to stand and go about my morning routine. Later that day I went to Russellville Ar. To pick up a load bound for Atlanta, Ga. I had attributed that mornings problem with bad Chinese take out from the night before. Got loaded very late.

At 3:00 am on Thursday the 18, I was finally loaded, I slept until 8:00 am and drove to a rest area 8 miles west of Jackson, Tn. When I started to get out of the truck, I almost passed out again. Then I called 911 and my wife. I also called my dispatcher. The ambulance arrived in about 10 minutes and took me to the hospital. After all day in emergency they still had not determined what had caused the problem. Because of previous heart problems (which were and still are under control) they did those kind of tests first, all showed no problems.

Finally on the 22 of December 08, they released me. My son had driven my wife to Jackson, so we came home to east Texas.

The final diagnosis was a simple ear infection, however because of the holidays it took until the 8th of January 09, to get in to see an ear specialist, in order to get a release to return to work. Which puts me at home waiting on a truck. Zero income is not a good feeling. Therefore I am very anxious to get back to work.

Definitely one of the easiest (yes, you can do it yourself) ways to perk up your vehicle is to add pin-striping. You could spend thousands of dollars on a custom pin-stripe paint job at a body shop, or spend a few bucks add purchase yourself a few rolls of pin-stripe tape. There is a huge variety of widths and and colors available. You decide how wide you want them to be; maybe you want to put some racing stripes over the roof and hood, or maybe you want more than one stripe down the sides of the car, in a few different colors. This is your chance to express yourself and everyone will notice the difference immediately.

Adding vinyl graphics is another great place to start and you will be amazed how easily they can be applied and just what a fast change they make. In about an hours time and at the cost of about $100, you can make flames appear to be shooting out from your wheels or over your hood, or checkered flags on the sides of the vehicle (there are LOTS of other styles not mentioned here). AND, there are free installation videos available on youtube that will walk you through the installation process step-by-step.

You cant get much quicker or easier to install than a rear window decal. You can pick from smaller side window decals or the larger see-thru rear window decals that fit many cars and most trucks. Show you patriotism when you pick the American Flag package or show your fan support for your favorite NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB or NCAA teams. Looking through a rear window graphic is like looking through screen material on a window or door on the inside, and on the outside all you can really see is the image that you chose, like the flag. The graphics are printed on a perforated vinyl and are installed on the outside of the glass.

You can always light it up! You would be surprised how adding new lights can change the whole appearance of your car. Altezza lights were atually introduced in Japan on the Toyota Altezza, and the lights were such a big hit here in the US they nicknamed them the Altezza Light, also known as euro tail lights. You can add Altezza Lights for a really classy look or shop for the LED version of the tail lights, clear corner lenses, clear side marker lenses or projector lamps. Adding any of these is a great first step and wont break the bank.

Crawl under your truck and look for the 'latch/hook' that holds your hood shut. It will most likely be just below and behind the top level of your grille in the location of your hand release. IF you can find something long enough and sturdy enough, you should be able to 'trip' the latch and release your hood.
