In the year 1955, the first front loader dumpster was launched in the market but these front loading vehicles were not more commonly seen till the year 1970. During the middle part of the 1970s, Peterson industries manufactured first ever grapple truck for disposal of garbage in municipal areas. In the year 1997, Lee Rathbun came forward with the rear steer system in a refuse truck. This system enabled the driver to drive and operate the loader simultaneously with the help of an elevated, rear facing cab. This increased the speed of garbage disposal in a considerable manner.

How can I prove my 1986 Jeep Comanchee truck came from the factory without a passenger side mirror?
My truck failed to pass an MVI because the inspector said the passenger side mirror was gone. I bought it used from a relative and I believe the truck came from the Jeep factory without the mirror. How can I prove it?
It may have been ordered without the mirror, you used to be able to do that. Usually rural mail carriers, or paper persons would order them so they could avoid hitting mail boxes. Even if your relative never used it for that, it could have been ordered to the origional dealership for that purpose. However since the 1986 Jeep Comanche came with a passenger mirror standard, I dont see any way you can beat the MVI on this one.
