•    Master your inertia.  The light up ahead turned red?  Take your foot off the gas and coast.  Gently apply your brakes and gradually slow down.  Try to time it so you get back on the gas as the light turns green.
•    Keep your tires properly inflated and stay current on maintenance.  Nothing like a busted oxygen sensor to put your fuel economy in the tank!
