With many states and communities making it illegal to hold a cellular phone while you drive, a hands free car kit is becoming almost a necessity. Additionally the cost of a ticket if you get caught holding your phone in an area in which it is illegal to do so, can be much higher than the price of a Bluetooth car kit.
Whether you choose a bells and whistles laden Bluetooth car kit, one that clips to your sun visor on one built into a headset, the call clarity is sure to be more than satisfactory and the convenience of not having wires running everywhere through the front of your car will be equally satisfactory.

where is the best place to position those little convex mirrors on the side view mirrors on cars?
Is it best on the outer edge or inner most part of the side view mirror or is there very little difference that it doesn't matter?
In terms of appearance, what looks better, on the outer or on the inner corner?
I have always seen them on the bottom of the side view mirror. My semi has a long flat mirror with a separate convex mirror at the bottom. This location helps with that "blind spot" that a conventional mirror doesn't pick up. Also by placing it on the bottom, it isn't going to interfer with your field of vision like it might by putting at the top. Sit in your car and hold the mirror up to your side mirror and see what works best for you.
